Shosthy (shosthy.com) is a platform in Bangladesh for finding doctors, booking serials at their chambers, and keeping prescriptions. It is operated from Mohammad Nagar, Bayzid thana, Chattogram (Trade Licence TRAD/CHTG/027110/2024). You can reach us at support@shosthy.com or 01818345674.

Shosthy does not give medical advice. Your doctor is responsible for your consultation and treatment.

Account details: your name, email address, mobile number and, if you add one, a profile photo.

Patient details: an emergency contact and your default location, plus any family members you add (name, date of birth, gender, mobile number and relationship).

Health information: appointments you book, prescriptions your doctor writes on Shosthy, and prescriptions you upload yourself. This is sensitive information and we treat it that way.

Payments: the amount, status and reference of online advance payments. Card and mobile-wallet details are entered on PayStation's payment page, not on Shosthy, and we do not store them.

Reviews you write about a doctor, which are shown on that doctor's profile with your name.

Doctors and assistants: registration details such as the BM&DC number, degrees and certificates, chamber and fee information, and the account details needed to pay out earnings.

Symptom search: if you use "describe your problem", the text you type is used to suggest a specialty.

To create your account, book and manage appointments, show your serial status, and keep your prescriptions and family records together.

To let the doctors you book, and their assistants, see the details they need for your visit.

To process payments and refunds, send account emails (for example password resets), and send prescriptions to your WhatsApp when your doctor chooses to.

To keep the platform secure and fix problems. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers that run parts of Shosthy for us: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), PayStation (online payments), Resend (account emails), a WhatsApp messaging provider (sending prescriptions to your phone) and OpenRouter (the AI model behind the symptom search). They receive only what they need to provide their service.

Authorities, if the law requires it.

We use cookies and your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember app settings. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above, including records we must keep for payments. You can ask us to delete your account and information at any time.

You can view and update your profile and family members in the app. To get a copy of your information, correct something you cannot edit, or delete your account, email support@shosthy.com from the address on your account.

Children's records are added by a parent or guardian as family members. The account holder is responsible for the information they add about family members.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
